LESSONS & FACILITIES: From how to approach and lead a horse safely, mounting, position, aids, rein technique, start, stop and turn at walk prior to trotting.
Half hour (1/2hr) to 1 hour (1 hr) or one and a half hours (1 -1/2hr) private or shared lessons are offered. Pending availability riders can book regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly lessons. One-off or casual lessons are also offered along with GIFT VOUCHERS Horse management is always included in 1 ½ hour lessons. MID WEEK half hour pony educational taster sessions for toddler’s 4 years plus are very popular.
DRESSAGE: Enclosed, (not indoor) shredded rubber surface, olympic size dressage arena with undercover viewing area for spectators & 20 metre diameter round-yard
JUMPING: Learn and practice forward seat.
GAMES, ENDURANCE: We have onsite a 1 kilometre endurance/fitness training track. Did you know we even play “Simon Says” & ”Pony Scrabble” to name but a couple of games played during lessons.
SAND ROLL: A lovely opportunity to observe our horses or ponies relax and enjoy a wonderful roll in the sand after a summertime hose down.
