Richmond Valley Riding School has riders from most suburbs including Sorell, Hobart, Brighton, Glenorchy, Clarence, and Campania to mention but a few.  Riders also come from Sandy Bay, Blackmans Bay, South Hobart, West Hobart, Mount Stuart, Mt Nelson, Dynnyrne, Strickland Avenue, Fern Tree, Moonah and New Town.  So you can see our students at Richmond Valley Riding School probably know each other from also attending the same schools.  Riders come from as far away as Westerway, New Norfolk, Tunnack, Oatlands, and as close as Cambridge. At Richmond Valley Riding School riders can have private lessons, or shared lessons with another rider, or group lessons with as few as three to eight riders.   Riding Helmets and boots can be supplied if the rider does not have their own.   Long sleeves are recommended as are body protectors. Some body protectors are available at Richmond Valley Riding School  to borrow along with numerous other riding attire &  riding helmets and boots.  For cold weather, warm jackets are provided all free of charge.  We have glasses holders and spare hair bands along with gloves too.  Luckily you dont have to have just stepped of the cover of a glossy magazine to ride, as often riders begin with their old clothes, but step into  horseland, or saddleworld and you can spend a lot of money on some wonderful horse clothing and accessories.
